The Australian Embassy is seeking a highly motivated and experienced person to fill the position of Program Coordinator – Nutrition, Disaster Management and Australian NGO Cooperation Program, working in the Human Development team. The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate achievement against the following selection criteria:
· A high level of communication and interpersonal skills that can be applied in building productive working relationships with the Government of Timor-Leste, implementing partners and other stakeholders;
· Demonstrated strong administration and program management capabilityincluding strategic planning, managing towards outcomes, financial management, risk management and monitoring and evaluation;
· Knowledge of development, nutrition and disaster management challenges in Timor-Leste;
· The ability to work with limited supervision and as part of a team;
· Personal initiative, good judgement and responsiveness.
Applicants should also have the following qualifications and/or experience.
· Tertiary qualifications
· Demonstrated competence with Microsoft Office computer applications
· Excellent written and spoken English and Tetum.
The monthly salary for this position is USD1, 133.66 for 37.50 working hours per week. This figure excludes 13-month salary.
